Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the publication of Where the Wild Things Are with this free event that your whole family will love! Toronto Public Library presents an exhibition of original artworks by the books author and illustrator, Maurice Sendak. Take a ride in Max’s boat, make a plasticine Wild Thing, hear stories and songs inspired by Sendak, and enjoy other free programs and activities for the whole family.

Solar Observing at Ontario Science Centre

Safely observe the sun with specially filtered telescopes. Your kiddies will learn about our nearest star and try their eye at spotting exotic surface features, including sunspots, spicules and prominences. This program is offered by members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
