🖌DIY PAINT CUPS🎨 We ❤️ this hack!

I think we’ve all felt the dreadful paint cup spill or the too much paint on the brush splatter 💨😅. You know, the slow motion noooooo 🏃🏻‍♀️and the paint still gets everywhere 😆. These help prevent spills and take off excess paint from the brushes to avoid splatter. Works so well!!

Hope you love this cool and fun rainbow themed activity today 🌈🤗.
•
👉🏼YOU’LL NEED:
-Small hard plastic cups or small thick glass jars
-Balloons
-Scissors
-Paint
-Paint brushes

👉🏼INSTRUCTIONS:
1️⃣Cut the stem of the balloon off
2️⃣Add paint to the cup
3️⃣Stretch the balloon and add it to the opening of the cup. Make sure its nice and tight
4️⃣Cut a hole at the top of the balloon. Don’t cut it off though, just make an opening for the paint brush
5️⃣Insert the paint brush through the hole and you’re all done.

This doesn’t show the tantrums, crying, anxiety, and how exhausted she is from staring at a screen all day!

Plus my older one breaking down crying as well. How am I? Well, I’m supposed to be working during all this right? 😕#notsomuch

Snack time, lunches, clean up! Screaming, “Mommy, help me.”

Sound familiar?

How do I deal? Well, to be honest I am emotionally spent!!

👉But, some things that have helped, I meditated for 10 min this a.m., took a shower, made a nice breakfast, did yoga during my daughters break time in the morning, and deep breathing!!

Mama’s I am sending you all a virtual hug!! Remember: The most important thing is that these kids are happy. Whatever we are feeling, remember these kids are feeling it also:)

Hope everyone that is on lockdown in Toronto or around the world 🌎 is safe and healthy!! Keep breathing 🤗

P.S. she has broke down crying yesterday also & I thought it was an awful day. This morning she said, mommy I had the best day yesterday. I loved the Science experiment. I want to be a Scientist. So go figure!!

It’s ok to have bad days! It’s ok to feel your emotions. Be true to yourself, your feelings, opinions, thoughts, and emotions! 🙏🏻

✨Live your own life with no apologies, and no regrets! ✨

Just remember, physiological lifespan of an emotion in the body and brain is 90 seconds. So let that sh*t go! 😌

✨To release an emotion, practice releasing the story + just focus on the sensations. Let them go, let the situation go, move on in serenity.

Easier said then done? 😉

✔️And when we’re used to feeling bad (sad, angry, anxious, shame), the neural pathways that correspond to those emotions become strengthened, like a brain superhighway.

It takes practice. So, it’s a matter of re-training your brain! 👉👉👉Notice the emotion, become aware of it, t’s how the emotion expresses itself in the body, without allowing the mind to latch on.

✔️A few years ago, researchers at Stanford discovered that spending time in nature reduces rumination and, in turn, can help reduce symptoms of depression.

✔️So next time you’re feeling a strong emotion, and you would like to be able to release it—maybe not in 90 seconds, but let’s say an hour—try going for a walk in nature.

Matzah pancakes recipe for Passover!

Here is my fav Passover recipe that was my mom’s recipe and my daughter Iyla made it for us for breakfast this a.m. ( Starting her young! 😋)

Ingredients:

1 cup of matzah meal

2 eggs

1/2 cup of water

1/2 cup of milk

Vanilla a cap or two

Salt +pepper

(Add water if it gets too thick)

1. In medium bowl, whisk together eggs,water, milk, salt, and vanilla. Stir in matzo meal. Let sit and thicken for 10 minutes, giving batter a good stir halfway through.

2. Cook in pan and golden brown on both sides

3. Serve with pancake toppings of your choice

Serve and enjoy!

1. Breathe
2. Say not true when negative 💭 thought pops up!
3.Visualize the thought shrinking until disappears
4.Visualize positive situations instead
5. Add a new positive routine- affirmations, meditations etc.
